Swami Dayanand Saraswati Life.

Swami Dayanand Saraswati was a renowned Hindu social reformer, Indian philosopher, and founder of the Arya Samaj. He was born on February 12, 1824, in Tankara, a small town in the state of Gujarat, India. His parents name were Karshanji Lalji Tiwari and Amrutbai, and he also had two elder brothers.

Maharishi Dayanand was deeply influenced by his mother's religious teachings, which instilled in him a strong sense of devotion to God and the Hindu faith. He received a traditional education in Sanskrit, Vedas, and other ancient texts from a young age. He also studied philosophy and other subjects.

As he grew older, Swami Dayanand began to question the practices and beliefs of his own religion. He felt that the Hindu religion has become corrupted with so much of superstitions and false beliefs, and there he decided that there is a need for a revival of the original teachings of the Vedas. To spread his message, he began to travel throughout India, and shared his of social and religious reform.

In 1875, at the age of 51, Swami Dayanand founded the Arya Samaj in Mumbai, India. The Arya Samaj was a social and religious movement that sought to promote the ancient Vedic teachings of India and to encourage a return to the principles of truth, justice, and morality. The movement aimed to remove the superstitions and false practices that had crept into the Hindu religion over time. Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati formed a slogan for Arya Samaj, “Krinvanto Vishwam Aryam”, which means “Make the World Noble”.

Swami Dayanand's teachings emphasized the importance of education, women's rights, and social equality. He encouraged people to study science and modern technology, and believed that education will improve people's lives. His message resonated with many people in India, and the Arya Samaj grew rapidly in the years following its founding.

Swami Dayanand died on October 30, 1883, in Ajmer, India, at the age of 59. Despite his relatively short life, he left a lasting legacy in India and beyond. His teachings and ideas continue to inspire people to this day, and the Arya Samaj remains an important institution in Indian society.
